About me

Hello, I’m Kaitlin (she/her/hers).

I provide support for birthing parents and their families to rest, heal, and thrive in postpartum. This includes daytime in-home postpartum support services in North King and South Snohomish Counties as well as VBAC and Cesarean preparation coaching and mentorship.

I offer virtual and in-home sleep counseling for children and families from birth to age five. This includes sleep support and education that is holistic and evidence-based, prioritizes mental health, and is customized to align with your child’s age and development as well as your parenting values, goals, and choices.

My care philosophy is inspired by the Dutch Kraamzorg, or maternity care, model. In the Netherlands, families are discharged quickly and greeted the next morning by a kraamverzorgster, or home maternity nurse, to assist them in the early days of healing and adjusting to life at home. You can read more about Kraamzorg here, here, and here.

I am a certified full spectrum doula through Birthing Doula Advocacy Training (BADT).

My training also includes the Sleep Counseling Institute (certification in progress), postpartum doula training and childbirth educator training with Whole Body Pregnancy, the Fat Positive Birthworker Workshop with Big Fat Pregnancy, and the Lactation Support Workshop with Sharon Muza.

Whether it’s your first child or your fifth, I look forward to partnering with you and your family through this important transition.
